Sony XL-5200 Replacement DLP Lamp In Housing Review
Ordered the item on MLK Day so overnight was a little tardy.
The packaging was secure and the lamp arrived in perfect shape.
Installation instructions were accurate. The lamp and its plug
assembly were perfectly aligned for installation so reading the
directions took more time than replacing the lamp.
Almost anyone who can change a light bulb can do this on their own.
I may order a spare lamp soon before the price increases
or this Sony model is discontinued. Also cheaper for slower shipping.
A friend shared that two years is the actual expected lamp life
for the number of hours each day that most viewers watch their TVs.

Viable replacement – LordFoo –
This was a functioning direct replacement for the lamp that burned out in my Sony KDS 60A2000. No problems with fitting.
It actually took more time to follow the manual directions to navigate the tv menu to tell it the lamp was replaced, than it did to replace the actual lamp.
Fully recommend.
This is a Philips lamp not a SONY – Gary –
The title of the item led me to believe it was a genuine SONY replacement. It is not, it’s a Philips lamp.
It arrived on time (next day delivery), and it looked exactly identical to the original (except for the stickers) so I tried it.
Seems to work the same, cannot tell the difference so I’m keeping it.
But I’m only giving 3 stars because of the misleading description…
If it had said it was a Philips lamp, you would have gotten 5 stars from me.

Sony DVM 60PR – Premium – Mini DV tape – 10 x 60min – Metal BIAS Review
I have with this Sony DV tapes from 2002 and have a few hundred, with several lots and quantities, which I bought from one year to another. It has never been a problem with a tape and the quality is very high, sound and vision
I do not reuse the tapes, and therefore could not say anything about how often do you film on them.
The good thing about these 10 is off, they too are available in a box, individually wrapped and packaged so well in a suitcase or backpack.
As others have advised to adhere to the same brand of camera and filled before your holiday travel, because they are expensive abroad.
RECOMMENDED DV tapes.
